Engineered for metropolitan solid waste transit authorities, regional refuse transfer stations, and long-haul landfill disposal contractors, the ISUZU GIGA 20CBM Heavy-Duty Compactor Garbage Truck maximizes payload per trip over extended highway distances. Built on the rugged ISUZU GIGA 6x4 heavy commercial platform (approx. 25,000–33,000 kg GVW) powered by the high-output 380–420 HP 6UZ1/6WG1 turbocharged diesel engine, this flagship hauler features a massive 20m³ reinforced curved body built from 5mm high-tensile NM450 wear-resistant steel plate. Its extreme bi-directional hydraulic compaction system generates up to 20 MPa pressure to achieve an aggressive 1:3 compression ratio, allowing operators to haul 12–15 metric tons of solid municipal refuse per trip and eliminate over 50% of round-trip transfer runs.

To guarantee clean and rapid depot turnaround, the compactor features double-acting hydraulic tailgate locking cylinders with heavy silicone gaskets and a full-width internal dozer blade that ejects the compressed load cleanly in under 40 seconds. Sub-floor stainless steel drainage channels divert compressed leachate into dual anti-corrosion reservoirs totaling over 1,000 liters, fitted with pneumatic discharge gates to prevent highway dripping. Controlled via an in-cab CAN-bus color display, rear dual-side manual consoles, and radio remote, the vehicle is fully customizable with 1.8–2.2m³ wide-mouth hopper tippers, swing-arm skip hoists, automated fire suppression, and GPS telemetry modules.
